Kristen Rickards is a Christian singer, songwriter, and devotional writer whose greatest joy is pointing people to the hope and love of Jesus Christ. Her journey in front of an audience began at just five years old, when she started working as a professional child actress. She sang in Woody Allen’s Everyone Says I Love You, starred as Amanda in Amanda and the Mysterious Carpet, voiced characters for Nickelodeon’s Kablam, and appeared in commercials for brands like Sprite and Burger King. Even as a child, she felt God planting seeds that He would later grow into a ministry of encouragement and worship.

During her reign as Miss New Jersey National Teenager, Kristen was honored with the Presidential Community Service Award for her volunteer work. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, but music and ministry always pulled on her heart. Along the way, God opened doors for her to sing at The White House and Citi Field for the New York Mets—moments she still treasures today.

Kristen and her husband, Jordan, share a passion for prayer and encouragement. Together they host a podcast with more than 100,000 subscribers, which also aired on New York City’s WMCA. She also hosts Today’s Hope With Kristen Rickards, a devotional radio series heard on twenty-eight stations across the country, and she can be heard every Thursday and Saturday on Christian Mix 106 hosting the morning show.

Music has always been one of Kristen’s favorite ways to share her faith. Her debut worship album, Faith Can Move Mountains, featuring her original title track, has been played on nationally syndicated radio, TV, and podcasts. She was also featured as the first cover story of Christian Teen Vogue, where she spoke about the inspiration behind her songs. Her more recent single, To My Unborn Baby, has brought comfort to grieving mothers around the world. Both songs, along with her other music, are available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon, and more.

She is also especially proud of her new book, A Life Worth Living in Christ: 90 Days to Clarity, Purpose, and Hope, a devotional designed to draw you closer to God and help you experience His presence in your daily life.
